Policy

Privacy policy.

What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to change your mind. Written to be read.

Effective 2 October 2026

01 · Scope

Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Refinery.co collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit refinery-agi.com, contact us, apply for a role, or use MAG, Alloy, Clueless, OI, or a Refinery.sol engagement. It applies to the information Refinery controls. Where a client engages Refinery.sol to process their own customers' data, that client's policy governs and Refinery acts on their instructions.

02 · Information we collect

What we collect, and where it comes from

We collect what you give us, what our products need to work, and a small amount of technical data from hosting the site.

  • You give us. Name, email, company, region, and whatever you write in a contact, application, waitlist, campus request, or support message. Portfolio or profile links if you apply for a role. University name if you ask us to light up a campus.
  • Products need. Account details and the data you connect. MAG reads the sales and expense records you import. Clueless reads the learning platforms you link and stores courses, deadlines, and grades on your device. Alloy processes your browsing on your device and does not send history to us.
  • Clueless account and plan. Email, account ID, plan and expiry, and usage counts. The counts record that a request happened, not the content of what you asked. A purchase record stores the plan, the term, the amount in Thai baht, the region, and the Stripe payment reference.
  • Automatically. This site does not run advertising or analytics pixels. Cloudflare, which hosts the pages and form endpoints, may keep server logs that include IP address, user agent, and the path you requested, so the site can be delivered and protected. Google Fonts, and jsDelivr on the MAG page, receive your IP when those files load. See the cookie policy.
03 · How we use it

Why we process your information

  • To run the product you signed up for, sync what you connected, and send updates about it.
  • To reply to you. A founder reads contact and application messages and answers them directly.
  • To add you to a waitlist when you ask — OI, Alloy, or a Clueless campus request — and write when that product or campus is ready.
  • To reply on LINE if you message the Official Account.
  • To keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and debug product crashes when a product reports them.
  • To meet legal obligations, including tax and accounting records in Thailand.

We process this because you asked us to (a contract or a request you made), because you consented on a form, because the law requires it, or because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting the site. We do not sell personal information and we do not train general AI models on user data.

04 · Sharing

Who we share it with

Only where the work requires it.

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and the form endpoints.
  • Resend sends the email when you submit a form. Campus requests from the Clueless page are sent with a placeholder address so the form can be delivered; the university name you typed is what we read.
  • Google Fonts and, on the MAG page, jsDelivr deliver type and motion code.
  • LINE if you write to the Official Account.
  • Stripe takes payment for Clueless. We never receive your full card number; for a monthly plan, Stripe keeps the card to renew it. Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple. Other paid products use a payment processor bound by contract to use the data only for that payment.
  • OpenRouter routes Clueless Cloud to DeepSeek. Clueless includes the relevant Google Calendar or Classroom details in a request only when you ask the assistant about your schedule, deadlines, or classes, or you ask it to add or change something on your calendar. If you use your own AI provider key, that request goes to your provider instead of OpenRouter. The details are used only to answer that request. Requests ask the provider not to retain the content or train on it. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train AI or machine learning models. Where another product feature sends text to a model, it is sent for that request and not retained by us beyond the session.
  • Platforms you connect, such as Google Calendar or Google Classroom, according to the permissions you grant. What Clueless reads, and how that data is used, is in Google user data (Clueless). You can revoke access at any time.
  • Authorities when the law requires it, and a successor if the business is merged, financed, acquired, or dissolved, under this policy. Any Google user data transferred that way stays subject to the Limited Use commitments in Google user data (Clueless).
05 · Google data

Google user data (Clueless)

What Google user data we access

Connecting Google is optional and separate from signing in. These are the scopes Clueless requests, and the exact data each one covers.

  • openid, email, and profile. Your Google account ID, email, name, and profile picture. We send that sign-in data to our account provider, Supabase, to sign you in. This does not give access to Calendar, Classroom, Gmail, Drive, or files.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.courses.readonly. Course names, course IDs, section, and the course link, for courses you are enrolled in. No roster, so Clueless cannot see who else is in your classes.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.course-work.readonly. Assignment titles, descriptions, due dates, type, max points, and attachment links. Read-only. Clueless cannot modify, submit, or delete anything in Classroom.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.app.created. Permission to create and manage only the separate calendar named Clueless and the events Clueless puts on it.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events.readonly. A read-only view of your primary-calendar events from 7 days ago to 60 days ahead: title, start, end, location, the first 500 characters of the description, the event ID, and the link. Never attendees or video-call details.

How we use it

We use this Google user data only for student-facing planning features: your course list, your deadlines, your study plan, your week view, and deadline events and reminders on the Clueless calendar. We do not use it for advertising. We do not use it to develop, improve, or train AI or machine learning models.

Who we share it with

We never sell Google user data.

Supabase, our account provider, receives only sign-in data: your email, your name, and your Google account ID. Classroom data and Calendar data are stored on your Mac, not on our servers.

When you ask the assistant about your schedule, deadlines, or classes, or you ask it to add or change something on your calendar, Clueless includes only the relevant Google Calendar or Classroom details in that request. The request goes to the AI service you use: Clueless Cloud, via OpenRouter, routed to DeepSeek, or your own AI provider key. That service uses the details only to answer the request.

We may also disclose Google user data where the law requires it, and to a successor if the business is merged, financed, acquired, or dissolved. The successor takes that data under this policy, and any Google user data transferred that way stays subject to the Limited Use commitments below. Apart from the assistant request above, and these legal and merger cases, we do not transfer Google user data to anyone else.

How we protect it

  • TLS protects it in transit.
  • The Google token is stored on your Mac with owner-only (0600) file permissions.
  • Sign-in uses OAuth with PKCE.
  • Google API calls go directly from the app to Google's servers.
  • Account records on our servers are protected by access controls.

How long we keep it and how we delete it

Classroom and Calendar data is kept on your Mac only while Google is connected.

Disconnect revokes the token, deletes the token, and deletes imported Calendar events and all Classroom data from your Mac. Settings can clear app data.

To delete your account, email [email protected]. We complete that deletion within 30 days.

You can revoke Clueless at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the Clueless calendar in Google Calendar removes the events Clueless wrote.

Limited Use

The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Clueless's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We limit our use of Google user data to providing or improving the user-facing features of Clueless that are prominent in the app.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve those user-facing features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with appropriate safeguards.
  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalised advertising, or interest-based advertising.
  • We do not sell Google user data, and we do not sell any user data.
  • We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalised or non-personalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Requests ask the provider not to retain that content or train on it.
  • We do not allow humans to read Google user data, except with your explicit, affirmative consent for specific items; where necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse; to comply with applicable law; or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised so it can no longer identify you.
06 · Retention

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as your account exists, then deleted within 90 days of closure. Contact and application messages for two years. Payment records are kept for as long as Thai tax and accounting law requires. Abandoned checkout records are deleted with the account. Data stored on your device by Clueless and Alloy is deleted when you remove the app or clear it in Settings.

07 · Security

How we protect it

Encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to the people who need it, and signed and notarized desktop builds. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires and as quickly as we can.

08 · Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, and objection

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, and where the GDPR or similar law applies to you, you may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, withdraw consent, or object to processing. You may also close your account at any time. Delete your Clueless account from Settings → Account, or by writing to us. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

09 · Transfers

Where your data is processed

Refinery operates from Bangkok. Some providers we use store data in Singapore, the European Union, or the United States. Where data leaves Thailand we rely on contractual safeguards that meet PDPA requirements.

10 · Children

Age limits

Our products are for people 16 and older. Clueless is built for university students. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16, and we delete it if we learn we have.

11 · Changes

When this policy changes

We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will email you before it takes effect.

12 · Contact

How to reach us

The controller is Sirawit Yingcharoen, operating as Refinery.co, Bangkok 10230, Thailand. Data protection questions and requests: [email protected], or message our LINE Official Account. We will ask enough to confirm it is you, then respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand, or to your local authority if you live in the EEA or the UK.

13 · Cookies

Cookies and similar storage

We do not run advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set cookies that keep the site available. Pressing OK on the site notice stores a preference in local storage on your device. Fonts and, on MAG, GSAP load from third parties and those requests include your IP. The cookie policy lists each one.

This policy applies to Refinery.co and the products it operates. Where local data-protection law grants you additional rights, those rights are not affected.
